Over a decade of experience as a recruiter and talent manager. 

Previous marketing professional. 

And, self-proclaimed writer. 

Why am I doing this? 

I realized early on that my purpose in life was to stand for opportunity and connection in all of its forms: connecting people to people, connecting people to jobs, leaning into new experiences, and taking chances. 

Luckily, through a lot of life iterations, I am thriving and doing what I love at work, with my blog, and as an advocate for others; specifically helping candidates stand-apart in the job application process.  

How did I get here? 

My path was definitely not linear.

I went to university in Ontario, and ended up with a communications degree. At one point, I thought I would be a screenplay writer. I ended up doing an internship at an advertising agency, and landed a job in that field after graduation. The challenge was that I didn't love the role or industry I was in. 

Through leveraged opportunities, and fantastic mentors, I was steered towards the recruitment industry, and discovered my real passion. 

Why am I passionate about helping others find a career and job they love?

Lets face it, applying and interviewing for jobs can be daunting and time consuming.

In my line of work, I see a lot of people miss out on an opportunity based on a poor application, resume and/or portfolio. 

With a few tweaks, support, and insight into the application and interview process, you could ace-it time and time again. I'm here to share my learnings; helping you thrive, and start doing the work you love. 

Passions in life outside of work...

I love to write. I enjoy "organized fun." I really like to walk (but never run). I will always try something new, at least once. I'm a fan of organizing dinner parties. And, I (obviously) say yes to opportunities along the way.
